Quite near the train station, the Milling was a great, centrally located place to stay in Odense. Beautiful building on the outside, okay inside, but with warm and friendly staff ready to help with whatever you need.

Hotel was conveniently about 6 mins' walk from the train station. And near to a local supermarket (about 5 mins' walk). It was also easy to walk to all the nearby attractions like HC Andersen House & the main shopping street in Odense. Interior of the room is basic and does not come with amenities. Furnishing is dated but beds are clean & comfy. Service of staff was excellent. They are friendly, helpful and able to answer all enquiries.

PROS: Excellent location! Good public parking and transportation at the door step. Quiet room (to the back yard). Hotel not without some charm. Breakfast was OK too. CONS: Bed was a bouncy trampolin. Bath room very basic and wet after showering. Pricing double-up due big concert event in town which feels unreasonable.

Nice hotel in the heart of Odense
We have stayed in Hotel Ansgar several times when we visit Odense. It's a classic city hotel, very conveniently placed in the heart of Odense. Not fancy but a solid bet! The hotel offers a limited amount of free parking spaces on the premises. Drive carefully, it's a tight spot... 3 EV charging stations are offered. Public paid parking / tramway just across the street. Staff is always very polite and attentive. Our room seems to have been renovated only a few years back. It was nice with ample room for two. Decent breakfast is offered daily. We will come back .

It's a great location, but still overpriced for the basic rooms. The room was very dim after sunset, the lamps are naked lightbulbs that do nothing to brighten the room. The shower is just in a corner of the bathroom with nowhere to put any bottles besides the floor. It was clean and convenient and fine for one night, but wouldn't be comfortable for a long stay.

Hotellet er i en ældre bygning med den charme og de oplevelser det giver. Desværre er der efter min vurdering ikke udluftning nok i badeværelset og der er en skarp lugt fra afløbet der spreder sig i værelset. Ikke så rart kl 00.30 nå man gerne vil sove.

Fint ophold og sødt personale, der var en utrolig dårlig og tung lugt af fugt ude på gangen (1. Sal) som gik lidt med ind på værelset, jeg spurgte i receptionen om der var noget galt men fik nej det er der ikke. Den ekstra opredning vi havde på værelset var en ret dårlig og hård seng.

Godt ophold
Utrolig venlig modtagelse. Dejligt med fri kaffe og kage ved ankomsten. Værelset og sengen var ok. Badeværelset lidt lille, men det fungerede. Morgenmaden var god og noget for enhver smag. Det ville have været rart, at der var blevet skrevet til os, at vi skulle bo på Windsor hotel og ikke Ansgar, som vi jo kørte efter
