Overpriced but fabulous location for one night. Think travelodge before renovations. I was a female solo traveller and it suited my plans and felt safe.
Staff lovely, easy check in/out and easy to park at the hotel or opposite.
Nice little touristy town.
My room was clean but missing a net curtain and as it was ground floor I couldn’t open the curtains as people walked past. If I was there more than one night I would have asked to move.
Slow WiFi, but it worked, no tv signal. Dust fell off the main curtain each time I shut it.
Double glazing needs replacing as it’s not clear, but once I managed to open the door (dodgy lock) there was a fabulous view.
Great shower cubicle and pressure, but dirty shower head and sink.
No kettle, this is a standard hotel requirement at this price, this needs addressing urgently.
Woodwork has rust coming out of it.
Definitely needs a renovation, but I wouldn’t spend £87 here again.
Breakfast was Ok, no juice on offer but nice coffee machine and a basic range of hot and cold offerings, enough to keep you going.
I didn’t see anyone in the pools.
The bed was actually really comfortable and it was nice to have a proper double bed.
I would return at half the price as it is in a great spot and the staff were really nice, and not their fault the hotel is tired and overpriced. I walked past the Calomar and it looks much newer so sadly I’d choose that place next time.
