The hotel is very cute and authentic. I watched them repaint several items to enhance the property. The air conditioner worked well, and although this is not a new, updated resort it was comfortable. We did not interact with staff other than the front desk. They were friendly. I was very disappointed when I arrived as I was expecting a nice all inclusive resort. Overall the experience was different and good.
The pool is not very big and the water was very warm, so not refreshing. When I booked it said we had access to the sister resorts pool which is nice, but we were told no. So basically no pool. It is a short walk to the beach, and there are chairs for the resort. The beach area is by the pier and is more a locals beach area.
This resort is in the gay community of Puerto Vallarta which was a surprise to us. Fortunately we were good with this, but I worry if the wrong people booked without knowing.
We enjoyed our stay and made the best of the experience, but I would not return.
