I’ve stayed in Ibis Hotels before, but this one seems to be more basic than others, and has the decor (large black n white prints on doors), and feel, of a Backpackers Hostel. Staff were friendly and polite. t’s a really big hotel, the restaurant closes early and the only food available was a small lasagna for 14 euros.
Room was small and clean (some lipstick smudges on the bedroom floor), but adequate, there was a large TV and a silly very large black photo painting on the wall that looked like a child’s scribble and was in the way when trying to get into bed.
A little further from main train station, than many other hotels, and the area around has homeless people, so doesn’t feel so safe, ( for a woman), at night. There’s a security man on the door.
Otherwise, average and clean.
