Same Time Next Year
This hotel provided me with exactly I wanted: Clean, secure, close proximity. I found the staff to cordially friendly. The facility was neat and clean. If there is one drawback that would be one get a constant voice message when calling the hotel. The facility made my stay in Manhattan an enjoyable one.

Cute little room
For the price and location was great. The room was tiny which is fine if all you are doing is sleeping there. The bed was uncomfortable but had a mattress cover on it to protect it. No bed bugs due to protector. Had a unique private shower/bathroom which makes it worth renting compared to others. Staff was friendly and when i left my luggage with them before and after check in/out it didn't get tampered it. Overall was worth the price and location.

Older 4 story walk up hotel that has updated interior. A/C working great thanks to mini splits during 90 degree days. Initially Easy to miss entry door in a busy area, but clean and surprisingly quiet for being right on 8th ave. Will go again

Love the location, right next to Times Square. The staff was so friendly and helpful!! The rooms are a bit small but I found it a perfect size for me as I was solo traveling. The only things I didn’t like about this property was you can hear everything, walls are very thin but thankfully I’m a heavy sleeper. And being on the 4th floor was a hassle because there’s only stairs no elevator. Was definitely a mini workout every time I went shopping, but I overall enjoyed my stay. I’d stay again!

My bed sheets were dirty, they ran out of room keys and I could hear all my neighbors

Right in Hell's Kitchen, walkable from Broadway! Overall, the property was being renovated and seemed nice/clean. However, when we got to the room, it had not been cleaned and they were full so they couldn't move us. It was not great, but the manager immediately went up and started cleaning our room himself. He took care of us and we ended up having a good experience overall!

Overall good. Great price for location, clean comfortable rooms. Thin walls. Only thing is that the cleaning lady will start knocking on your door way before checkout time, event tho you have the do not disturb sign, I mean once is fine we all make mistakes but 3?? . So expect no rest on your last morning. :)

Me-Cay solo getaway
Staff was AMAZING. The room itself is very small but oddly very comfortable for solo- I stayed in single room, 3 steps from shower to bed/toilet to bed…. But honestly wasn’t in time square to sit in a hotel room… Only reason reduced rating is because the accessibility. Stairs only should be a little more clear in descriptions. And the stairs are narrow & no real hand rail… there is a rail but difficult to grasp and use. Overall good stay, water was hot room was cold, bed was comfortable. Social space was comfortable

2/10 Poor

A cheap place for a lot of money
The hotel does not tell you that there are no elevators I got the four floor. Up and down my room was not clean once in a 3 nights stay I paid over six hundred dollars for a bad experience my wife and I are over 60 and 69 years old the bed was ok and the room very very small the fixtures in the bathroom don’t work. A complete mess. Do not stay there
Manuel, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Hotel did not have enough key cards to accommodate all guests so the staff had to walk up multiple flights of stairs repeatedly to let guests into their rooms. Hotel also looks absolutely nothing like what’s in the photos. Huge scam.
Jokari, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

This room was not as it was advertised on Expedia. The shower was smaller than a camper shower and it was practically on top of the toilet. The room was much smaller than anticipated (I know rooms in NYC aren’t big…this was tiny! It was also incredibly hot and the AC just wasn’t going to cut it. We ended up not staying and the staff was incredibly kind and understanding that it wasn’t what we were expecting. I give the staff 5 stars, but more transparency for guests should be expected.
Maura, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

When I went to check in, I was told I owed a balance. Which I didn't because I booked via Expedia. I was told if I could show a receipt providing I paid, it was all good. Not sure what kind of scam they are trying to run, but it's very shady and suspicious. Either I had balance due or I didn't. Let's see if I get the deposit hold back.

2/10 Poor

The location was great but the property was very old. NO ELEVATOR, had to lug my bags 5 floors up. Never staying here again! The property is extremely old, work still being done in the entryway, walls had spackle and looks unfinished. Room was very small and had only 2 outlets. No lamps, just bare minimum. Bathroom was horrendous, no shower door, just some cheap plastic divider so all the floors got wet when you showered. Had to place towels on the floor to walk on. The bathroom has no door, they used a cheap plexiglass as a barn door. It was cut so small everyone could see you sitting on the toilet or showering, not to mention the door kept falling off the track. Do not stay here!!! Also no parking or area to pull up.
Avinash, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Staff will not attend to any repairs Tv did not work the entire 5 day stay. Said they would credit us upon check out. Surprise! No credit. Telephones never work. We were on the 5th floor and if we needed anything... five floors down you went and 5 floors back up. By the way NO ELEVATOR AVAILABLE!!! The room was tiny, barely fir the double bed. Light socket had charger prong broke off in it making it a hazard. The bathroom was clean and small which was fine but had nowhere to put soap, shampoo or wash rag. So the toilet is so close you use it to hold the things you need in the shower. I think this paints the picture of what to expect.
Philip, 5-night trip

6/10 Good

Not worth the money.
The only good thing about the hotel was its position. I asked for tea cups and was told they had none. Tea and coffee facilities were there but could not be used due to no cups. Shower door did not close fully. Could do with a coat of paint to uplift it as a bit dreary. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. No breakfast facilities.
3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The good: Location 5 stars, comfy bed, hot water and good water pressure. Room slippers are provided, these are good to prop the slidy door closed (see below) The bad: Tiny room so use you ergonomic skills, comfy bed but no fitted sheet so it shifted all the time, and a wall on 3 sides meant nowhere for me to store stuff at night. This could be solved by the hotel installing pocketed nooks over the headboard. The bathroom door is a plastic barn door, so be comfy hearing your loved ones poop (lighting tip below helps see through the door at night). The Ugly: you will be getting your drunken calastenics walking up the stairs at night. The carpet on the stairs needs replacing. They could clean under and around the bed better. Don't drop anything there. Overall, I don't go to NYC to stay in the hotel room. Hot Tip: we always bring a flat multicolour light with us. It came in handy here as there is no other lighting except very bright overheads. We have it slowly change overnight as we sleep. Mood lighting rocks!
