The room itself was absolutely huge and beautiful. We stayed in April, and unfortunately had two very cold and windy days, but were glad to have so much indoor space to hang. (We'd hoped to spend that time outside.). The hot tub outside was more "warm" I"d say than actually hot, which was a bummer, but I am sure it's nice in the hotter summer months. The patio is shared, with a screen dividing it. We didn't have neighbors, so it was no problem, but I could see this being frustrating if both sides wanted to use the balcony at the same time. It seemed like inside there was the option to open a connecting door, so it could be fun with a big group occupying the two suites.
We loved having direct access outside without having to go up through town. This I believe is only true for our suite, the Fidelio room. There were not a lot of stairs involved in getting to our room, in fact, once you are able to use the direct exit, there are no stairs. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great. And it really was one of the prettiest rooms I've ever stayed in. The cave bedrooms have no windows and take blackout darkness to a whole new level. The hotel itself is on the edge of town, still. in it, but the end, which makes it a little quieter than some of the other ones. Not a far walk to anywhere in Fira, great shopping right there.
