Usually, if I don't have something nice to say, I wont. This will be one of my few exceptions.
Starting at the lobby, the desk clerk was pretty friendly when first checking in. There is a large "NO REFUNDS" sign at check-in. The lobby smelled of a mix of humidity and cigarettes... place needs to be urgently aired out. The first room I got was absolutely filthy. The beds had hair on them, the sheets were dirty and stained. The restroom was even worse. I asked the desk clerk for a new room. The second room was better but not by much. The beds were also covered in hair, the sheets were stained, and sheets had cigarette burns. The restroom was also extremely filthy. Luckily, I always carry lysol wipes and tried to make the most out of the situation... It seemed like the room had not been cleaned in MONTHS!!! It was so gross!!! I requested clean sheets, and apparently, it was a hard feat to accomplish, filled with annoyance and sarcasm. My husband and friend made the beds with the clean sheets and we called it a night.
This was the worst hotel/motel stay ever. I want a refund so bad. As for the manager, you're welcome. We left the room cleaner than when we arrived.
