Friendly quick reception & check in, good bar food & good servings of wine & I like the atmosphere in the house bar area. The only let down was the sewerage smell in bathroom but mostly managed to air that out when we went out for awhile. Suspect floor over flow drain needs to be sluced out with a reasonable volume of water & something like bleach based toilet cleaner. The Bed was really comfortable & it was a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet is excellent.I guess one day this hotel will have both lifts working, is the right hand one still under maintenance from when I was there 2 years ago? But would I stay there again? Definite Yes.

I had surgery and asked for my last night to be refunded as I needed someone by my side during the night and so stayed with a friend . The staff for dining made this stay. Travelling with children can be hard at times. They made such an effort to make our Son feel seen and happy. Its all we heard about after our stay. The food, the rooms were great but the staff friendliness would make us return again and again.
