My stay at the Aqua hotel was terrible, I booked a suite that was 400sq ft and because I decided to bring my daughter at the last minute they refused to let me stay in the suite that I booked and placed me in a tiny room that was 220sq ft that was cramped with four beds in it. Online the room I booked stated sleeps 3. I spent the first day of my trip going back and forth with management and customer service trying to get refunded and change hotels. It was a total nightmare

Property is low cost and in terms of value it was fair. The junior suite looked on to balconies of the adjacent hotel, the metal camp bed style bed was terribly uncomfortable. The hotel itself was average in every way, nothing too bad, nothing to say was particularly good either, other than the bar staff being very friendly. I’d say for two nights out of season it was fine but in peak summer I can imagine the lifts, breakfast, checkout, Sun loungers etc being very over crowded.

Joined our daughter's family for a week here. Otherwise we wouldn't choose such a relatively large family hotel. It was all about boys 8 & 11 have a good time - which they did. A lot of time spent in pool and sea [10 min walk]. HB meal choice was fine for them; okay for us [wow, the restaurant staff work hard!]. Outside entertainment 9.30 okay. Particularly good guitarist one evening. All thought bed's too hard and rooms dated - but okay. Reception staff good. Cutting a long story short - getting a few drinks at bar either slow or very slow; and bathroom could have been brushed better before our arrival.

Nice and family friendly hotel
This is a modern and nice hotel. The staff is friendly and service minded. It’s clean. The food is good but the restaurant can be crowded. The hotel has a nice og fairly sized pool, but can be crowded. The have entertainment as dance, water polo which can be noisy. It’s popular among families, but Santa Susanna is a low costly area with camping spots which can attract groups of people that like to party and make noice. The pool area is small compared to the size of the hotel and can be crowded. It’s not far from the beach which is very nice. The beach is huge and you can be almost alone with only a few minutes walk. Santa Susanna is a quiet little town with not much to do, except sports like cycling, jogging or playing padel tennis.

This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. The rooms are not clean at all and very dated and small. Paper thin walls. I could hear the man above me snoring every night! You can hear people outside your room almost as if they were inside it. Small rooms and so overcrowded. The only positive is the buffet, food was good and staff had it organized well even though the line to get in would sometimes stretch to all the way out the lobby and past the elevators. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

We stayed here as part of our road trip through Spain. A family of two adults and two teenage kids. The hotel was easy to find via sat nav. You actually get to the hotel around the back where you can drop everyone and all the cases etc off easily with good access. There is free parking in an off road car park nearby or you can park across the road at a daily cost. The hotel is very clean and the staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. We were there in April so the pool was a bit too cold to use but that’s not the hotels fault. You can use the indoor one at a charge (worked out 40 euros for two hours for four of us with shower caps that had to be purchased and used). The hotel itself is nice and clean and well looked after. There was evening entertainment. We went half board. The hospitality staff were very helpful. Our daughter suffers from allergies and they were very helpful with selecting and even cooking her food separately which was very kind. The food was a bit repetitive from night to night but that’s quite a general thing we’ve found. Santa Susanna itself doesn’t have much going on. We found ourselves jumping in the car and driving 20mins to Lloret de mar. We also went to tossa de mar which was very pretty and to Blanes for the day. There are much nicer beaches at all these places and you don’t have to try and cross a train line to get to the beaches. That was our only gripe. Everything else was fine. There’s plenty of public transport around if you need it.

The receptionist who assited me is not accommodating she have insisted that I need to present the identification of my husband and son and I told her I can drop by later as soon I have it, I just need to fix my things that is in mess from a long travel, so I just need the room key to fix all our things, the reservation is under my name so is not a big deal and the second I paid the room and I request for a parking view ( and she confirmed its parking view) but gave me a room that is needed to walk 2 kilometers / end part of the hotel, and I have hotel.com VIP access but he she insisted I have not the right to have a welcome drinks because I have a standard room only, ofcourse she will not offer a room upgrade( hotel.com VIP access) its pick season, but the next day I have requested if I can change our room with parking view but the manager gave me the choices only for 2 pax room with not good view near to street ground floor that anyone can see you if you are in balcony. I have paid for triple beds room and offered me a double bed(?) paid 268€ per night is a lot for such experiences in this hotel, not to recommend to anyone if your finding a four stars hotel try another hotel. bathroom faucets are with molds need to have a maintinance of the bathroom not worth of your money.
