The views and the cleanliness was top notch. The buffet breakfast had many choices and it was delicious.The free shuttle bus had a schedule and you needed to book it in order to ensure seating. It would take you only to the Piaza in the town center and return to the hotel. The local business owners were very friendly and helpful. You could travel with the city bus by purchasing bus tickets at the local shops/bars. Taxi service from the hotel was minimum 20 Euros. We found that to be very expensive. We travelled from the port to the other islands by ferry. Transfer from this hotel to Naples airport was 160 Euros. Expensive but easier than transfers by city bus/trains. Easier to travel from the Salerno Airport.

Hotel Raito was a very welcoming experience. They have great customer service and we were shown immediately to our room as well as the spa at our request. They provided us with complimentary sandals for our stay. The room was quiet, with a lovely, large balcony overlooking the sea. There is a pool area, which was very nice, with a swim up bar! and our room had breakfast included, which was a great breakfast! Lots of options. The room was comfortable. We just wish we stayed here for more than one night!!

What a beautiful view! Everyone was so accommodating and informative. We took their shuttle to town and they arranged a taxi to get to the marina to catch a boat to Amalfi and Positano. You can walk it but keep in mind the down and uphill climb should you take the shuttle. Unfortunately we were only there 2 nights and would recommend more if your schedule allows. We had breakfast, lunch and cocktails at the property and didn't have time for the pool and dinner but other guests said it was great. We would definitely come back again.

Does not deserve a 5 star rating

Stayed here for a wedding. Paid over 400 a night for an extremely small room with one small window that looked out to a wall, a loud air conditioning unit that would not let us sleep and a bathroom the size of a closet. And while we should have woken up earlier in the mornings for breakfast (we were slightly jet lagged), when we ran up at 11 am for at least one cup of coffee, they said no. We put up with it because of the wedding we were there to attend, but there are better, lesser star hotels in the area. I’ve stayed at nicer Holiday Inns, this hotel is not worth it.

We had a scheduled stay here at the end of March/beginning of April. Though our reservation was for three nights, we decided to leave after the first night for the following reasons: The hotel location is not convenient to go into Vietry Sul Mare (the hotel does offer a shuttle, but then you are tied to a schedule). I would not recommend walking into town as the only option is to walk along a busy narrow/winding road. There are limited dinning options onsite. Additionally, it is at the very tail end of the Amalfi Coast so there is not much to see or do in the area. The hotel grounds are nice, but our room did not live up to the expectations from the hotel pictures. The room looked worn and dated and the mattress and bedding was cheap and uncomfortable. We were so much happier once we moved locations to a new hotel in Sorrento.

Disappointed in 5 star hotel

Pros- strawberries and wine welcome was very nice, staff was professional and helpful. Cons- the hotel is too far from town in which you have to use the hotel shuttle which is not frequent enough should be hourly or use a taxi can be costly. The food is definitely not 5 star and pricey. The room temp you can only make minor adjustments and it resets itself at night. The room becomes so hot our granddaughter woke up several nights sweating. The indoor pool is not free there is a surcharge which was not stated when we booked.We don't recommend this hotel.We were so disappointed with this hotel. The town itself is mostly ceramics and only 2 streets.
