It was ok.Nothing amazing but it did the job.Upon arrival I was given a welcome drink. But the check in process took forever .It looked like they couldn’t find my booking. Eventually it was found once I showed them my Hotels.com information. I had requested a modern room with a view of the beach / pool and this was granted. The room itself was decent and not too small. Queen bed, TV, luggage and bench space. Bathroom was fine, although shower is in the bath itself. Upon arrival I realised that there were no towels. I went back to reception to request them. When I came back I noticed they had simply dropped off one towel. So I had to go back to reception to request a full set of hand towels,bath towels etc.
Staff were nice enough, but I certainly didn’t experience the “amazing service” that other people have raved about. They really didn't go out of their way at any stage. The pool is large however I found swimming in the evening more enjoyable. Breakfast buffet is great. selection of both Asian and Western food. Fried eggs available,however they can also be made to your specific order. Bacon, Sausages, pancakes, fried bananas, cereals, breads, pastas, rice,noodles. So much to choose! Aircon and wifi works well. Lighting and power outlets in room could be improved.10 min walk to the busy main street. Would I recommend this resort, yes if you can get a good price for it. But I would rate it as 3.5 not a 4.0 It is nothing flash or amazing, but it wasn't terrible either.
