This is a very beautiful property. Everything was sparkling clean, simple and elegant. The grounds are extensive, well maintained and very pretty. This was a great hotel and we'll be back for sure. The only reason it isn't getting five stars is because the fridge in our room made crazy noises all night and kept us both up. Easily fixed! Amazing place and very charming. Definitely give it a try and enjoy the adorable little town of St. Mary's!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived discovered we had booked the wrong date. They quickly found us a great room. We stayed and ate dinner where the service and food was excellent. The large grounds are beautiful to wander on for a nice walk. This is also close to town in historic St. Mary's

Booked the “superior” king room, which was a small room just big enough for the king so i don’t get what was superior about it, it didn’t have any other furniture showed in the photos and didn’t have the amenities listed in the room description like black out curtains. The staff were also very rude.

We were many years ago and had an amazing dinner and terrific breakfast. However, this time we find out that breakfast is only served on Sundays. If this happens to you, just go to Joes Diner. Great service and good food! Also, the room was clean enough, but it is in need of a reno. We’re glad that we have the memories of years past, as this was truly a terrific place to stay/dine.
