This is a charming hotel converted from a prior estate on national park grounds. The staff are extremely friendly and frequently provided assistance when needed. Wild peacocks stroll the grounds each morning. The rates are very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is within walking distance to old Sintra and transportation to the sights around Sintra but far enough out of town to have a very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was gorgeous, quite large and cozy but also modern.

The building and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. The location is next to one of the many palaces Sintra has to offer and it’s a quick walk into the historic town center. Lovely renovated old building. A bit hard to find with google maps. Parking is a long walk away so drop off your luggage at the driveway before you go to the parking lot. It is quicker (12 minutes)to walk back to the city center than it is to drive.

Peaceful Oasis
The location of the property was special-an old farm that is still being used. The building was great, our room was nice and we had a great view. It was incredibly quiet, so we had a good rest. The bathroom needed a coat of paint, as it was peeling pretty badly by the windows. The man who checked us in was incredibly kind, and gave us a nice tour of the grounds. It could probably use one more staff person, as the morning manager was doing everything, and was having a hard time keeping up. All in all, I would stay there again.

This was our third visit to Sintra a the first stay at Quinta dos Lobos. The staff,the facilities,and the location were outstanding! They have an amazing art focused philosophy in the development. The staff were incredibly sincere and helpful. We felt at home. Walking access to Sintra could not be any easier. We had an amazingly spacious room on the third floor with an incredible view. The only caution there is the sloped ceilings so be careful. We would return without question and enjoyed our stay completely.

A friendly quiet hotel next to Quinta da Regaleira
This hotel is right next door to Quinta da Regaleira, which is a plus because that is one of the highlights of Sintra, and allows you to walk to the beginning of your Sintra sightseeing. You will, however, have to rely on taxis or Tuktuks because you really do not want to drive here or try to rely on the buses. Plan your Sintra itinerary and transportation carefully, including dinner. Uber will not pickup out here and there's nothing you can do about it, but we had good luck with the taxis summoned by the hotel staff. Very friendly staff at this hotel will do everything they can to accommodate your needs, even letting you into the staff laundry room if you need to iron some shirts.
