this is a unique 5-room botique hotel.
it is an oasis of tranquility from the noise of the city.
the decor of each room is unique and charming, and the common areas feel very inviting and relaxing.
the innkeeper, alejandro, is a kind, charming, and helpful fellow, with a warm heart.
it has a laundry and a full size (shared) kitchen.
it is a 10 minute walk from the malecon, and the historic centro district of the city.
things to be aware of:
1) the 2 cheapest rooms share a bathroom, the other 3 all have private bathroom. upgrading to the most expensive room is probably worth it, it's still a bargain.
2) i thought i'd paid through expedia for the room, but it was just a hold for the room. once arriving, i found i had to pay for the room, but non-mexico credit cards aren't accepted, fortunately i had some cash.
overall, this place is a gem, and seems to be very new, with only 1 review so far, that's probably why it's so cheap now.
i wouldn't hesitate to book this place again, if i'm in the area and i have cash.
