Gorgeous Historic Hotel with Modern Comfort
This is an amazing and gorgeous hotel. This historic property has been updated with modern comfort. Each room is distinct and beautiful. The location could not be better for exploring central historic Puebla by foot. The staff were gracious, helpful and absolutely lovely. If you are visiting Puebla, this is the place to stay.

Our stay at the Casona de la China Poblana Boutique Hotel was excellent! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, always willing to help, starting from Citlali, the 2 Verónicas, Fernando, Jose, Valeria, Elizabeth and Miguel. Since we arrived they upgraded our room to a larger, very nice and super clean one. They welcomed us with a margarita and the included breakfasts are a delight. We will definitely book again at this hotel, which is very close to the main square (zocalo) where the best places to visit in Puebla are.

Great location, helpful staff, good free internet and breakfast. The Grand Suite was not on the street so it was very quiet. No elevator so be prepared to climb.

Loved this hotel, close to the square. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Cookies, comp water, fruit juice and fresh fruit were a lovely touch in the room. AC worked great. Breakfast was lovely. Drinks were on par. Only issue was we were locked out of the hotel for 15 mins. on a Saturday night in the rain at 10:45pm. We had a late dinner reservation and we rang the door bell and clicked the knocker several times. We had to call the main hotel line several times to gain enterance. Location was excellent.

There were 6 of us staying for 4 nights. We loved everything about the Casona de la Poblana China! Spacious rooms with every amenity imaginable, coffee and cookies available 24 hours outside our door, fruit inside our room, and a delicious daily breakfast. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff: Feliz in the dining room, Elizabeth our housekeeper, and Jasmine on reception. We highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!!

Our first room, although beautifully appointed, was on the corner of the hotel near a busy intersection. So it was very noisy, even during the night, impacting our sleep. The next day we contacted hotel mgmt and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to change our room to one further from the intersection. Much quieter and restful. The second room was another suite, also beautifully decorated. The Casona is conveniently located in the Centro of Puebla just a few blocks from the zocalo and the cathedral. Breakfast was included, although the morning service was a bit spotty.

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My beautiful room had stylish décor and extravagant bathroom. Each morning it was a great pleasure to have breakfast in the lovely courtyard, featuring seasonal fruit, toast, egg dishes, juice and coffee. Most importantly, the hotel staff members were experts in customer service. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency during my stay. The hotel manager and restaurant manager went out of their way to show tremendous kindness to me, which I will never forget. I am fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel.
