No frills but very clean.
Stayed here many times, very clean, cozy basic rooms at a very good price for travelers on the move. It's no frills, but worth it off the beaten path.

No frills but great value. Quiet and clean. Just the basics except an amazing front porch looking out onto the prairie. Love!

I had a really easy check in. The room was clean. I had a truck and trailer and the parking lot was big enough for both. I would stay there again.

Property needs to be updated and deep cleaned. My bedding smelled like a wet dog. Several reviews were made by hunters that the rooms were no frills. While that’s true, I’d at least expect a hair dryer. There was multiple unmatched vinyl flooring in one room. Lots of flies (but fly swatters were in each room). I put bug spray on before getting in bed …

Yup, stay here
Don is a sweetheart that is patient and kind to his guests. The room was very comfortable for the price point. The only thing missing is a bath mat towel. Would absolutely stay again if passing through little Newell.

Don was a very friendly host. The location is peaceful and safe. Very reasonable rates compact and comfortable. Two diners in the village and a small open park within easy walking. Dog friendly

This was everything I needed for my quick overnight stay. The owner was very helpful and I especially appreciate him being flexible on my checkout time. The location is nice and quiet, and there is a cute diner next-door. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a place to rest your head after being on the road after 15 hours for cheap and have low expectations, it will be better than sleeping in a car. My biggest issues are it took 15 mins after being in the tiny town to find the place because the address on the expedia contact information didnt match what google aaid. The property was barely lit up, so pulling in it was basically pitch black and hard to find as the sign by the road wasn't working. The room had no deadbolt lock and the a/c window wasn't covered so people could peer in if they wanted around back. The floor was dirty especially in the bathroom and the tub was a bit grimey around the drain. The shower took a long time to get good water pressure and the water took a couple mins to get warmed up. The beds are not long enough if you're over 6 feet tall. I will say the rooms were in decent shape as far as not looking run down on the inside. More security and cleanliness would be better for guests.
