The hotel is quite run down, which is really a pity, as the location is great. The carpets in the hallways smell like something the cat dragged in. There was mold in my shower, water spilling out from somewhere after showers, and dust and dirt in the radiator. The staff didnt seem willing to help with something that required leaving the reception, maybe thats a management decision.

The location is amazing, and the beds were comfortable. However, there is a terrible smell in the hallways and elevator - it was hard to breathe walking down the hall. The room was incredibly hot, and they couldn't find a fan until our last night. The front desk was going to double charge us for the parking because they forgot to enter our payment into the system. Luckily we'd saved the receipt! It wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but there is a lot of room for improvement!

We were so disappointed about the fact that the elevator was out of service during our stay. Our rooms were on the second floor and we had to carry our languages from the underground parking to the second floor. We had 2 people who have physical difficulties to take the stairs. This was a mixed experience. The first night was very loud because we were on the side next to the elevated train. The next day we found two bugs in our room that looked like cockroaches. We had had enough and asked for a refund for our remaining 2 nights. The staff said it was normal to have bugs in the room and that they come through the open windows. Which seems weird to me because then why wouldn’t they put screens on the windows? But back to the refund, because it was booked through Expedia they said they couldn’t give us a refund. And Expedia was unresponsive - I tried to contact them through the Expedia site but there was no response. We decided to try one more night but we asked to be on the other side of the hotel. Here it was really quiet and all was well. And the breakfast they provide, at a cost, is very good. Scrambled eggs, sliced meats, fresh buns and bread, yoghurt, fruit salad, juice.
