This is a beautiful restored hostel, but as the same with hostel average cleanliness is not a priority even if you are in a private room. Specialy my room had a vintage door not sealing the frame, allowing all kind of mosquitoes get in to the room, not a pleasant night!

Experiência negativa.
Estive no Jo&Joe algumas vezes e gosto do lugar. Desta vez vou fazer críticas pois não tive uma experiência tão boa. 1) atendimento no check-in demorado - tive que entrar na fila para me identificar e depois, depois de um atendimento demorado e mais atencioso a um casal estrangeiro, tive que explicar de novo que fui só me trocar para poder receber a chave para guardar minha mala; 2) ar-condicionado pingando no quarto individual; 3) festas com música alta demais para quem quer aproveitar a beleza e paz do lugar - querem faturar a custo da paz do hóspede; 4) check-in poderia pelo menos anotar o número do quarto no impresso com informações do hotel - até chegar no quarto a pessoa já esqueceu, vamos ser mais atenciosos?; 5) chego na recepção e 21:12 domingo e fui informado que o restaurante funciona até 21:30 - no restaurante uma atendente arrogante e com “aquela boa vontade” diz que a cozinha já estava fechada. Tive que usar a informação da recepção para ela analisar o que “podia fazer”, estando super errada já que o restaurante fecha 21:30 e não 21:12. Claramente o hotel precisa de gerência e tem muito a melhorar no atendimento.

A primeira impressão foi muito boa, o prédio histórico restaurado é muito bonito. Mas a medida que fomos conhecendo o espaço o encanto diminuiu. Os quartos não possuem janelas, apenas parede de vidro. O chuveiro estava estragado, o primeiro banho foi muito ruim, mas o conserto foi realizado imediatamente à solicitação, o que foi muito bom. Para a troca de toalhas, você deve levar a toalha até a portaria?! Muito ruim isto. Os uartos são de difícil acesso, muitas escadarias, deveriam colocar isto no site. O café da manhã é bom, sem nada demais, a senhora que responsável pela reposição é mal humorada, falta delicadeza.
