Excellent stay
Hotel was excellent. We booked an ocean view room which had an amazing view. The room was spacious, clean and bed very comfortably.
The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us - organising our trips and answering all our questions.
The quality and range of food available in the Seascape restaurant was very good. Although note that due to renovations to the Shiso restaurant, the Seascape restaurant was often a la carte in the evenings and you need to book a table.
Service in the bar was great, with a wide choice available. The hotel wine was good and we didn't feel the need to any buy premium wine, although it is available. There was entertainment every evening, except Sunday. This included singers, a saxophonist and steelpan group.
The beach is not as extensive as the hotel photos indicate due to storms earlier this year. The Yellowfin team at the beach were very helpful with water skiing, doughnut rides and SUP. Drinks are available at the beach or brought to you at the beach.
Be aware that a number of the other Elegant Hotels are closed at the moment and people were being moved to Waves or Crystal Cove. Our room was not available when we arrived - which was very disappointing. We were allocated a poolside room for the first 2 days. It was adaquate but not what we booked. We were not the only visitors to experience this.
