Very cute property and village. The staff were very friendly and the food in in the Pub was good. Downsides, the bar and the restaurant were limited on options to choose from. There was zero water pressure in the shower. The gentleman did tell us at check in that they had poor water pressure, however it was non existent. Very difficult to take any kind of shower. Overall it was a nice quiet inn with a good patio.

Nice stay x
Had a lovely stay. The owner was lovely very friendly and helpful. We had a meal on one of the evenings, it was italian night and what we had was very tasty. The venue is very handy for the imperial war museum and a 10 min drive from trumpington park and ride for a visit to Cambridge.

Overall the experience was positive. Very nice owner and staff, however, the water pressure in the shower left a great deal to be desired.

Nice place to stay, shame about shower
Nice place to stay, very welcoming and quiet. My only issue was the shower/bath. There is obviously a low volume water heater and it just does not provide enough water for a decent shower, don't even attempt a bath unless you have 1/2 the night to run it. The rest is exactly as you would want and one of the better places around Cambridge (and much better than any hotel next to the train station where you can't sleep due to the trains and announcements).

6/10 Good

Room was fine. Breakfast was poor. No cooked option, pain au chocolate was stale or from a packet.

4/10 Fair

Frustrating
No check in until 17.00, unusual but fair enough. This was a Monday evening and told upon arrival at 17.00 that the room wasn't quite ready (booking made three weeks in advance not last minute) and that they only do evening food Thursdays to Saturdays. Tried to have shower and the water pressure was so low the water barely reached the shower head. On a positive note the continental breakfast was very good.
