The beautiful property includes a pool area with fantastic lunch and dinner restaurants, including a Michelin Star restaurant, which was terrific. We really enjoyed the property, which had a great pool and restaurant staff. However, our experiences with the front desk and concierge staff left us with a lot to be desired. The front desk staff appeared to lack any sense of organization and communication among the staff. For example, when we were checking out, we had a ferry departing from Amalfi for Capri, and they said they had arranged the luggage transportation to the port (about .8 kilometers from the hotel. At Twenty minutes before the ferry was scheduled to leave, there was no car and no communication to us on what was going on. Luckily, we found a water taxi to take us from the hotel port to the ferry port. Still, because of the time, the water taxi had to dock illegally in order for us not to miss the ferry - it was literally a "diving catch" and not a great experience. That was one example of several of the front desk/concierge not being organized or communicating effectively with guests. Would I go back? Absolutely! Beautify property! We know now that we have to arrange all our transfers despite the staff offering to do so.
