We were impressed with the service from hotel management and team The hotel is some little way from Riva atown Centre however we found public transport was available and we used it to get about on an alongside the Lake.

Lake Garda is a beautiful place, hotel Rudy is a little too far out of the town centre, we were travelling around Europe and used hotel Rudy for a 3 day stop to relax for the next leg, it was ok for the purpose, very clean and pleasant.

Good hotel for walking, biking & outdoor pursuits.
Hotel Rudy is a good quality hotel about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Riva. It has a spa which we could use for free and included a jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. The breakfast was very good and included fruit juice, cerials, cooked, salad, yogurt, fruit, cake, tea & coffee. The room was a good size & comfortable. It is recommended to anybody who likes walking, biking & outdoor pursuits.

Good service for your money
We stayed here in September and we also rented e-bikes from them. The staff was helpful and everything went smooth. The breakfast had good choices and the buffet did not run out of food even if we came 15 minutes before closing. Even if it's a good 15-minute walk from the waterfront, I would stay again here.

Easiest 5 star I've ever given!
I absolutely loved my experience here! The hotel was very new and modern. It's a small hotel so staffing is limited but there's always someone in the front of you ring the bell. The hotel has a bar (opened til 2 am, I believe), restaurant (breakfast from 7 am to 10 am and dinner from 7 pm to 10 pm), a bike rental office, and a wellness center (that you have to book beforehand at the reception). Breakfast and the wellness center comes with the room. My room was 218, and it was a nice little room! Everything was very nice and neat. We had two balconies :) The restroom had a bidet and a standing shower. There's also a hairdryer and some shampoo. Pretty typical hotel. It has everything you need at an amazing price. As for the food, breakfast was okay. It's your simple continental breakfast. But dinner. Dinner was pretty amazing. I got the seafood spaghetti, and I don't regret spending 14€ on it AT ALL. The dish was so big that my boyfriend and I shared it AND we still had some leftover for lunch the next day. Eating at the restaurant is nice simply because you can put it on the room and pay for it all at the end. This was the easiest 5 stars I've ever given to a hotel simply because they offer so much value for the price you're paying. The staff is so nice and helpful. If you're looking for a hotel close to the lake (5 min drive/20 min walk) or a place close to Arco (20 min drive), this is where you need to book!

Don't judge a book by its cover
From the outside, this hotel seemed very plain and motel-ish. We continued to feel this way when we got to our smallish room. However, the service and "extras" the hotel had to offer changed our view about the place! These included the use of the spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, relaxation room with lockers, towels, and flipflops) and full breakfast (wide variety of offerings including food for special diets i.e. lactose and gluten free options). We recommend this hotel to visitors to the northern part of Lake Garda!

great hotel
Overall this was an excellent stay.The location is on the edge of Riva hence the great prices to be had but the hotel has a fleet of free bikes which actually made our stay,cycling into both Riva and Arco to eat. I was concerned about the "4 person room" but was pleasantly surprised,4 single beds well spaced out,plenty of wardrobe space and a balcony view of the local mountains. The bar was frequented by locals so was obviously good value! We have stayed in other appartments in Riva but are already planning our return to hotel Rudy!

A great base for exploring the area
Upsides - Friendly staff, a good range of facilities (better than some more expensivensive hotels), lots of car parking, and a suprisingly cheap minibar! Downsides - on a busy main road, a bit too far to walk to Riva (though there is a bus and bike hire), the decor in the bedroom was a little tatty, the food wasn't great (though very reasonably priced)
