Great location and staff. Would never stay again.
Two decent attributes of this hotel are the front desk staff and the location. I can’t honestly recommend this property to friends. The A/C didn’t work, the shower was extremely small and I mean small. Not sure how larger people can even fit. There were multiple times throughout the night that the property alarm would go off. Sleeping was not really something we both got any resemblance of. The bed was as hard as a rock too. We knew the rooms would be small and this was no exception. Would not recommend.

Hôtel très bien situé (à 2 min du Colisée) Hôtel très calme dans une petite rue. Le personnel est très sympathique et parle français Petit déjeuner très bien (sucré avec des viennoiseries d'une boulangerie locale et salé) pour tous les goûts. Chambre très bien et au calme. Juste faire un coin plus sympathique quand on consomme au bar (manque une table basse par exemple entre les 2 canapes) Je recommande cet hôtel.

I liked that this hotel had very friendly staff and were very helpful and polite Staff spoke and understood English The hotel was less than a ten minute walk to the Colosseum the Metro and buses. There were some very nice side cafes and restaurants close to this hotel.

The Best Stay in Rome
Great location. Great hotel. Friendly staff and very helpful. Also, the room was always extremely clean and very good breakfast. Location is so close to everything. Only steps away from the coliseum and all the attractions. Our stay was awesome here. Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful. I will book again next year!

Could not beat the location literally around the corner from the Coliseum and the Forum. Terrific little restaurants within 5 minutes of walking. Lovely rooftop garden and breakfast buffet included was a bonus. Lots of choice and very friendly service from all staff. They also allowed us to store our luggage on the last day. Only complaint was the on and off hot and cold shower and decor a little tired but overall great little hotel.

Petit hôtel discret dans le centre de Rome Entre le Colisée 15min et Victor Emmanuel 15min. Tout y est, le service, l'acceuil, le petit déjeuner inclus convient à tout les goûts. La chambre (standard) avec balcon et grande salle de bains douche Et baignoire. Lit 160 assez ferme. Coffre fort /clim et ascenseur. Très bien placé, j'ai pu laisser la voiture et rester à pied. Beaucoup de monde partout même en cette fin août. Cet hôtel et Un bon passage Romain. Celui là je le garde en mémoire.

The hotel is ideally located, walking distance to the Colosseum. There are a number of eateries around. The downside was the water temperature. We did not get hot water for the 2 nights that we stayed there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are the main reason for us not complaining about the lack of hot water.

I stayed at Hotel Cavalieri in July 2019 for six nights. I have nothing but good things to say: the location is excellent, you are a five minute walk to the Colloseum and Colosseo (Rome Metro Stop), from which point you can get almost anywhere in Rome for 2 euros. The hotel is located on a cobbled side street immediately near several nice restaurants and cafes. You are literally a few minutes walk to many of the most significant sights in Rome. The room I had was small but very clean and maintained perfectly every day. The bathroom was fine, everything worked, water pressure was great, hot water was fine, and the AC worked. The room has a TV, safe, and mini-refrigerator, plenty of cabinet storage for clothes. *Extremely* quiet at night. The free morning breakfast is A+ Staff are professional, polite, kind, and always ready with a smile. Would I go there again, definitely! Mille Grazie, Hotel Cavalieri!
