Dated hotel that needs more work to be enjoyable.
We stayed for 3 nights and hoped to extend our stay as the beach and views were beautiful. But the cold hot tub, cold rooms, poor wifi, and hot water that took 10 minutes to warm up made the stay less enjoyable. The staff were always friendly, but unable to help with the many deficiencies. We did have one very good meal at beachside restaurant. We enjoyed walks on the beach, but would only return if the hotel addresses the many areas which need repair.

Great for families
A great place to stay for families. 3 pools. Lots of water slides and other kiddie stuff. There is even a full size carousel in the lobby! The food is actually very good. The pool water was about 95F during our early September stay.

Doors didn’t close very well had to really slam it. No hot water when we wanted to shower. The sinks faucet and sink were broken and when you wanted to use the faucet you got a loud noice with minimal water coming out. No water pressure what so ever. Not sure if all the rooms on the 4th floor are the same, but if I ever stay there again I would definitely be asking for a room on the lower levels.

A wonderful location in dire need of renovations. Broken window treatments/blinds - wood-rot in door frames, slippery tile throughout - showers were terrible and impossible to use. “Ocean View” was not an “Ocean View” Pools not heated - chairs in room had filthy fabric on cushions and from 1980’s - broken table in room - I could continue but won’t. Fantastic staff & beautiful spa. Pizza was delicious and a great breakfast buffet! Work on improving the property and its interior it will be an amazing resort!

It’s a really nice place. Unfortunately, for us it was very inconvenient and unsafe. We had my elderly mom with us in her wheelchair, and it seemed that the hotel staff didn’t care about giving us a handicap accessible room or maybe the hotel didn’t have any. Not sure.

We LOVED the fact that this hotel is RIGHT on the beach and you can walk a mile down the sandy beach to the Sunset bar/grill !!! The sunsets are PHENOMENAL !!!! The property is beginning to look a bit dilapidated....stained towels, blood on the comforter, clogged toilet, and in general needs a good painting inside the room and out on the balcony. But if management gets a grip on these issues, we would highly recommend this property to families (especially with young kids). The heated pool, water slides, pirate ships, horse carousel in the lobby, and water play land are PERFECT for kids. And the thatch hut bar located overlooking the beach is PERFECT for adults to grab a cold beverage while enjoying the ocean !!!!
