At point of Check In we did not receive room I booked. When I addressed front desk they said everything else was already reserved (just as my reservation was booked in advance) but they could not accommodate my 1st night. Reception said they would make a note and rectify to specified room for 2nd night. After traveling all day we returned to hotel and notified no changes were made. To avoid stress to our PRE-booked weekend we proceeded to our room. Upon Check Out, huge line up, only 1 receptionist who was not interested in reviewing notes on reservation. An additional unsolicited service charge was added onto account. I told receptionist I had already paid first night in FULL to guarantee reservation (not a preauthorization) and showed her via my Online banking. She said I was not correct, charged me 2 nights again and ADDED service fee! I CURRENTLY have 1 night charged in full on my Visa, and 2nd charge for 2 nights (plus service fee!) On my Visa account. I am traveling abroad and can not communicate directly to bank as I will incure additional charges for long distance. Very displeased with service. Unfortunate being that property is very clean, housekeeping is so friendly as well as restaurant staff. Breakfast is very mediocre but waitresses were so kind that food wasn't a bother. Please don't charge for a service that was never provided! Check Out process was by far disrespectful. Currently dealing with additional charge that is NOT an authorization. Very foul.
