My wife and I stayed at Hotel Marc Hely for 4 nights near the end of our France vacation. We loved the hotel and the owners. Our room (king bed with balcony) was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. There was plenty of storage space for our clothes, toiletries, and luggage. The bathroom was large and modern with lots of counter space and under-counter storage. The separate WC was a nice touch, too.
The best part of the room was the balcony view. From there we could see St. Paul de Vence a few kilometers away. The rest of the view was very nice, too: the scenic village nearby, tree-covered ridges, and the Alps in the far distance.
We opted for breakfast at the hotel 3 of the 4 mornings we were there. Christel brought us excellent bread and pastries, cooked our boiled eggs to order, made coffee and squeezed juice for us. The view from the dining room is spectacular and there are nice outdoor tables, too.
There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and the picturesque village of La Colle-sur-Loup is a couple of minutes away by car. We Uber-ed into town for dinner 3 of the 4 nights.
We used the Marc Hely as a base for exploring St. Paul de Vence, Biot, Antibes, and Nice, and it worked out great. We highly recommend this hotel.
