Good location
Friendly staff. Nice location, trolley stop to downtown in front of hotel, great restaurants nearby, and walkable to the Montage Hotel for a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and shower bathroom updated. While the place was nice but it wasn’t quite excellent. However, I would stay there again. The 4 star rating due to uneven flooring in the room, needed to be repaired. I would stay there again

The hotel was nice right across the street from the beach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Close to the trolley to access downtown. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting in the laguna area.

Charming Laguna Beach Lodge with Beach Access.
Clean and uodatec boutique hotel conveniently located across from a beautiful, world-class resort that charges three times the amount as the Lodge. Yet, you can walk across the street easily with a crossing light and take advantage of beach access or fabulous walks, views and cocktail hour. It is a long walk 2 mile walk into downtown Laguna Beach but there is a free trolley. Also, two nice restaurants, a CVS and a Gelson’s steps away. Parking is very convenient. There is a nice pool Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano a short drive away.

Roof leaks
Great little hotel for the money. Minimal ikea furniture but kind of stylish. The only problem was the leaking roof. We told reception but they said nothing would be done as they are in the process of renovating??? Luckily the rain was dripping on the floor by the door and not on the bed!!!
