I stayed here for 3 nights for a show at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s a little bit of a walk, but we did it all 3 nights. Yes there are homeless people, but you’re in Hollywood… It’s super close to all the tourist junk if that’s what you’re looking for. The hotel itself, it’s over priced but again… you’re in Hollywood. It’s an old hotel that has been revamped to be more of a boutique feel. I stayed here when it was the old place, so it’s for sure an improvement. The staff are all great! Super nice, didn’t care if we hung out with our own drinks, and just really friendly. Underground garage parking is great. They have a mini fridge, however it’s stocked with their things. No food options, and coffee bar downstairs is not alway available. There is a walk up coffee window across the street at IHOP though and plenty of food around. Even with the shady people around, I’d stay here again. It’s again, a bit overpriced, but it’s LA!
