Our stay for the show
The manager charged $15/night parking free without caring about our argument. However, other guests parking on the other side don’t pay for parking. He also grab our instant noodles, which is not professional behavior.

Beautiful, clean, quiet hotel overlooking the Rhine River. Israel and Robert were very kind and professional! Coffee available 24/7, fantastic breakfast selection as well. The hotel is away from the city, very peaceful. I would highly recommend to all!

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, nice rooms. Free parking and the drinks in the fridge were free. The tap in the bathroom did not give hot water, looked like the tap was calcified. The shower tap did give hot water, but went very heavy. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. On our next visit to the Messe in Düsseldorf, we will gladly stay here again.

Staff was amazing, room keys didn’t work in the whole property, and they had to go with every guest, but were still super nice. You get free drinks from the mini-bar on your day of arrival and the bed is amazing. Such a comfy bed! We didn’t manage to connect the TV with the wifi, which sucked a little. The shower was rather small, big bodied people might have problems in there. The floor was a little dusty, but overall it was nice.

What an experience! And where to start this review. The gentleman who works here is lovely and tries hard. I thank him for that. The older lady who works here should consider a career outside of hospitality. Questioning why I wanted fresh sheets and towels after 3 nights seemed rather unprofessional considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel…. I was eventually (reluctantly) given sheets to change the bed myself (only they didn’t fit the bed and there were no pillow cases but I guess I was expected to be grateful). Restaurant was closed - the bar had buckets placed on the floor, assuming it has a leaky roof. The hotel is miles away from anything unless you take the ferry across the Rhine (this does not run in the evening). Thank goodness Uber Eats delivers here. There was a lot of noise outside of the hotel with constant mowing of something - all day long… The room was spacious and bright. Bed comfortable. Big door we could open which was good as the 3rd floor was very warm and the AC was not working.

90er Charme mit Pinselsanierung
Zwischen gut gemeint und gut gemacht gibt es zuweilen einen Unterschied. Das Konzept erscheint dem Grunde nach nicht verkehrt, man hat aber offenbar die billigsten Unternehmer genommen, die man finden konnte. We do our best and chalk the rest war hier das Motto. Schief montierter Fernseher und ein offenbar nicht funktionierendes Lüftungssystem mit Stockflecken in den Gardinen bleiben in Erinnerung. Offenbar hat auch niemand hinter dem Vorhang auf dem Fensterbrett Staub gewischt.

Ein Zimmer von den drei gebuchten Nichtraucherzimmer roch sehr nach Zigarettenrauch. Die Bäder wurden leider nicht renoviert - so wie die Zimmer -, daher lief das Wasser schnell aus der Dusche. Unter Tresor ging leider nicht und neue Handtücher gab es nur auf Nachfrage. Das Frühstück war leider auch nicht unser Fall, weil es nur Aufbackbrötchen und Plastikwurst gab. Das Obst und Gemüse war schnell weg und wurde nicht mehr nachgelegt. Der Kaffee war aber gut.

Gute Übernachtung am Rhein
Wir waren nur eine Nacht bei grauem Herbstwetter in dem Hotel. Dabei gefiel uns, dass wir vom Auto (überdachter Parkplatz) trocken ins Hotel kamen. Die Lobby ist großzügig aber sehr ruhig. Der Empfang freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das gebuchte Doppelzimmer strahlte hell und das große weiße Bett lud zum Bleiben ein. Die Getränke der Minibar waren inclusive, leider versagte der Fernseher. Der Mitarbeiter des Empfangs (leider der einzige) gab uns nach erfolglosem Versuch den TV zu reparieren ein anderes, aber genau so schönes Zimmer, jetzt aber mit Blick auf die Rheinfähre. Da vormittags kein hoteleigenes Personal anwesend, ist das Check-Out bis 12:00 kontaktlos möglich. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen

Sehr schön am Rhein gelegen
Alles Bestens. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und unseres war sehr groß. Frühstücksbuffet absolut ausreichend und wurde immer wieder bei Bedarf aufgefüllt. Der Empfang sehr herzlich und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Abends ist etwas ruhig aber das weiss man vorher. Der nächste Ort mit Gastronomie und weiteren Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Kfz entfernt
