(It's in the middle of the WORST part of San Francisco, where it's dangerous to even walk up to the front doors. The front doors are behind a locked cage. There's no parking, so you'll need to find an overpriced garage and try to safely navigate there on your own.)
Hours after booking I tried calling to cancel for an emergency. Kept getting error messages saying the line was disconnected. Orbitz couldn't get through on the phone either. They said they'd send an email to see if they'd waive the no refund policy for this specific room.
I called again days later and reached a man named R***Y. He was incredibly unhelpful and argumentative. He said they had no record of Orbitz contacting them via phone or email, and with nothing from Orbitz, they can't refund.
He said that the GM would have the final say on a refund, but refused to give me a name, contact information, or a better time to call back. They've officially refused to refund.
I'm afraid to write this review because this place still has my credit card information, but it's worth it to let others know to stay far away.
