We chose this B&B because of it's location to the Vatican, which was a 10 minute walk to our tour starting point, and its ratings, but we didn't know anything about it.
Communication regarding checking in was great, and the staff person was amazing. Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delivered on a trolley to your room, not served in a common area as I expected.
The B&B itself is on the third floor of an older European building which houses other apartments and offices.
There is a small elevator to help travellers with their suitcases. The rooms are clean and have been modernized.
Because of the building's age, there was a somewhat higher than expected noise level. The area quietened down after 11, though.
The only drawback in our particular suite, though, was the strong smell of mould in the bathroom, which had obviously being cleaned. The fan didn't seem to work either. This odor seemed specific to our room since there the bathroom in the common area was fine. It's a problem that management should definitely attend to.
Still, for a short stay that's very near the Vatican and metro stations, this place was ideal. There is great shopping nearby, as well as lots of local places to eat.
