The kimpton is a must stay!
Our stay at the kimpton was amazing. Clean, beautiful resort, friendly staff. Fabio one of the staff members there at the bar by the beach went above and beyond. His service and hospitality was greatly appreciated and did not go unrecognized. He was waiting by the shore while we were frolicking in the beach to give us our drinks when we didnt even ask for it and we were greatly suprised and of course accepted it! The kimpton resort is one of the best resorts and cleanest that we have been to. And we will definitely be back! We love the nature feel and all around hospitality ♡ thank you!

The room and property was beautiful and modern. My family of four stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (it was really more of a condo) that was just as comfortable as it was beautiful. We did experience brief power outages each day in our room that lasted no more than 10-15 minutes, but it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Food at the restaurants onsite were decent but expensive. We loved the local food options on the West End of the island more for flavors and cost. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and truly made us feel at home. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but I’d definitely come back.

As someone who has traveled to 28 countries and is globalist with Hyatt, the service here a Kimpton Grand was the worse I have ever experienced. I was treated differently as soon as I walked in. I don't know if that had to do with my skin color or primary language but there was definitely a difference in treatment. They didnt welcome me with a towel and welcome drink like others. I prepaid for a bungalow, my initial paper work said a bungalow but they assigned me a basic room in the main tower. They charged me the resort fees at check in and at checkout. Luckily I kept my receipt and it was taken off. Humberto at the pool and Peter in Alera and Christoper Bell boy were the only nice people at the hotel. I was over looked by all other employees. I tipped and even over tipped and was still over looked. Service here is 1/10. I went to Ibagari Boutique Hotel for dinner and the service was 10/10. On my next trip back to the island I will be staying at Ibagari.

The Kimpton is at the very end of the hotel strip, meaning it’s less crowded and there aren’t a bunch of boats right in front of the beach chairs. Snorkeling right in front of the hotel is amazing. There is no need to book a tour. We have seen turtles, rays, and a wide variety of fish.

This resort is definitely the top one on the island. They made you feel safe and had so many amenities on the property. If you didn’t want to, you wouldn’t even need to leave the resort for anything. Great service and beautiful property!

A true 5 star resort. 5 star snorkeling 100 yards off of the properties beach. Great pool and great staff. If you like luxury this place fits the bill. If you walk down the beach you can find many eating options and a water taxi to West end. I will stay here again on my next trip to Roatan!!!!

Everything was great. Comfortable beds, good food and nice rooms and areas. The only problem we had was no hot water in our shower. The pool needs to be better kept. It was not cleaned well.

Very nice property. For the resort fee you would think there would be more activities included. But overall very nice. Breakfast is really good. The Sea Cat was good. The Allure dinner menu is limited. But overall very nice resort. I would stay here again with hesitation.
