A lovely family run B&B with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the sea. Wonderful breakfasts with choice of delicious homemade jams and yummy croissants etc. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom totally modern. I can't say enough nice things about the hosts. They were so accommodating and gave us great recommendations on restaurants. The location is very close to the main areas. The room was wonderful. There was a place to hang your laundry on a little terrace. I would highly recommend staying here. Ortigia is just beautiful.

We were welcomed by Stefano, whose English was excellent. He was gracious and helpful in the extreme. This is a truly family-run business, including Stafano's father (Maurizio) and son (Christian). We have also met Antonio, who works on the front desk. The room was spotlessly clean and of the highest quality. A fridge as part of a small kitchen, access to a little courtyard, high speed wi-fi, a superior wall safe, lots of storage space and really effective air-conditioning gives you everything you want and more. Stefano had arranged a taxi from Catania Airport to Aretusa Vacanze with his friend, Danilo, for €90.

A Delight
Fantastic family run small hotel which provides excellent value and is ideally placed to enjoy the delights of Syracuse. Rooms are spacious with good facilities. Stefano and his staff go out of their way to help and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. The roof terrace is a highlight and you can enjoy your breakfast with views over the city to the sea or enjoy the sunset. We will definitely be back.

The B&B was centrally located with easy walking to all the sights on the island of Ortygia. The room and bathroom were spacious and modern. The breakfast was very good which was served on the rooftop deck with views of the city. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was unavailable and we had to park over the bridge in Syracuse, about a 10 minute walk away.
