Overall, the property was clean. During booking I was not aware that this was a basement unit with the main house also being occupied. It was also not noted in the description that there were large, akward steps and a sharp downslope to get to the unit. This is not somewhere I would recommend for anyone with limited mobility. The internet did not work. The door would not stay closed unless it was locked, which I found odd. The other thing I noticed was that being in the basement, all of the heating/cooling/electrical was there. Even though it was behind some slatted closet doors, there was a loud electrical/humming noise the entire stay. There are no screens on windows, so if you want fresh air, you get bugs too. The kitchen is tiny with no oven or dishwasher, or other items you commonly find, such as foil or plastic wrap. The grill worked well. There was no welcome book with instructions, directions, or communications. The other tenants were nice, but I could hear every step they took. There is no warmth to the space and the bathroom is very outdated. There was also limited parking. I had to call the owner to figure out where to park because of the other tenants and they asled me to park in front of a fire hydrant. Overall, would not stay here again. It was an absolute rip off.
