Not a hotel or Vrbo. LITERALLY just a room in someone's house. It started w/ getting a sketchy text asking to send photos of credit card & ID before issuing pass code to front door claiming to need it for incidentals. After several back & forth messages/phone calls with Hotels.com & location, we got it resolved. Room was pre-paid & there are zero amenities, so I'm not sure what "incidentals" they need my credit card for, but I know it's standard practice in hotels so I was making a fuss about sending sensitive credit card info to a text. Upon arrival, there is absolutely zero signage to let you know you're in the right place. You have to depend on address. If you arrive after dark, you would be hard pressed to find it because there is no outside lighting to help you see the address. Upon walking up the driveway, the sidewalk is blocked by overgrown hedges making you walk through the yard. Upon entry there is a note telling you to take off your shoes, I've never had to take my shoes off before. The entry area is in disarray with shoes in the hall and views into a cluttered kitchen & living room area. In the room there is no TV, microwave, fridge. If you want some noise in the background while preparing to go out, you just have to use your phone. Then there were NO sleeping pillows on the bed. There were 2 decorative shams & throw pillows. In the closet there was an extra blanket & 1 sleeping pillow for the King bed. Only good thing, they had a good stock of hygiene items.
