Positive: the room/apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was short, one night and out the next day. We were within walking distance to a grocery store but most restaurants were not open for dinner in the area, which seemed odd.
Negative; the listing gives the impression that this is a hotel, but it is more like an apartment building that has been a little run down. I’m not sure where ‘lakefront’ comes from but there is certainly not a lake within view at all. This was a completely residential area. A peek out the living room window shows a home a couple lots over with a rural feel to it but that is certainly not seen from the front of this building.
Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were not open, it was under renovation, and that would have been nice to know because that was our original plan for food.
I don’t like to post anything negative about a listing, especially when our comfort level was fine. I’m only posting this note because the advertising differs from the actual reality.
