Great Value Accommodation, Great location, Staff a Friendly and Helpful. Lovely little private beach where you can enjoy a cocktail or two. Comfortable bed, As there is no air conditioning, and only ceiling fans would recommend staying in the cooler months. Will be back for sure.

Stunning views of Sydney Harbour. Very peaceful. Full of history. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Helpful staff. Lovely beach. Shuttle bus quick and easy and on demand. Manly buzzing with restaurants, pubs, cafes and more beaches.

Peaceful stay in stunning surroundings steeped in history. Be aware that heritage rooms have no air conditioning or windows that can be opened, only fans so if you are prone to feeling hot, it may not be as pleasant. Staff were extremely helpful and catered to everything. We didn’t take out our car during the whole stay and used the shuttle buses which helped us relax even more. Loved a morning coffee and swim at Quarantine beach, right at our doorstep. A great place to get away from crowds and enjoy the tranquility of a national park.

Relaxing and peaceful near Manly
We had 2 nights here to celebrate our birthdays. Such a lovely place to stay. We were in an Isolation suite, so it was quiet, away from the main accommodation area. There was visitors’ lounge opposite which had great views of harbour. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Walk down to wharf cafe, Quarantine Beach and Boilerhouse restaurant (or you can call for 24-hour shuttle service). Very interesting to learn about the history of the place and have the opportunity to wander around by yourself.

View was spectacular Good bedding Unfortunately our toilet facility was outside the room and the key did not work

Historical Charm
Loved staying here for the location, uniqueness and history. Our room was not on the harbour side so it was quite dark but comfortable. We went to a concert at The Barracks so a perfect spot to stay for that reason too.
Rachel, 1-night trip

We stayed at this hotel for a couples weekend getaway with no expectations and with the intention of going to manly or Shelly beach. We loved the room, and the amazing views. It’s not the ritz but it was rustic and private. The private beach was so stunning and quiet we stayed there the entire time and never actually went to manly. We had an amazing three course meal at Boiler House. The food was so creative and well executed. The Panna Cotta was the best I have ever had. Great overall experience. We will return.

Two receptionists were awful; one , the manageress was a bully; self entitled witch; I was seconds from canceling… and I would have missed out on a great stay
Charles H, 2-night trip

A lovely quiet get away, fabulous breakfasts, and a terrific view.
Kym, 3-night trip

The bedsheet is not clean and the room is not comfortable to sleep. No air con. Noise separation is bad. I can hear other people talking in the balcony
