Immediately upon arrival and sitting on the edge of the bed, the bed collapsed. While the staff were able to send over a handyman later in the day to repair it, it was not a great start, and there was no compensation around this.
Pricing for the crib was hidden until we arrived, so we were forced to pay whatever they asked so our child had a place to sleep.
Finally, the kitchen was missing amenities including paper towels and sponges, and when we asked for some to be sent over, they simply told us they did not supply those things.
Overall this was an example of how the commodification of rental apartments has greatly degraded the quality and value of these stays, and why so many people are saying
"I just book hotels now".
