We were told our room would be serviced every other day. My husband checked on Friday morning and was told that our room would not be serviced because we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door at 8 am. As he told them, room 414 DOES NOT HAVE A “DO NOT DISTURB” sign. They RUDELY refused to correct the error. I called to politely ask them to resolve the issue but was told to email the director of sales if we wanted to complain.
Later, I went to the desk and told Jan that we did not have such a sign. A very polite gentleman behind the desk said this should not have happened and that our room would be serviced by the end of the day. Neither desk clerk said a word so he must be a very senior person, perhaps a regional manager. Unfortunately, we did not get his name.
That night, April 25, we arrived to find dirty towels, an unmade bed, and overflowing trash cans. Towels were delivered on Saturday morning but the housekeeper said we were not down for service.
As if that wasn't bad enough, our sink had no plug which we reported every day. And we had to run the shower for up to 10 minutes to get hot water.
We have stayed in this hotel 13 times. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Melva, Kiara, the wonderful lady who makes breakfast, and the evening desk clerks are delightful.
