This hotel is conveniently located for exploring Osaka: it’s very close to the shopping in Shinsaibashi and the Osaka loop station, and about a 10 min walk to Dotonbori. The staff is very helpful too — they were quick to respond to my emails, and they kindly helped arrange for our luggage to be forwarded to our next destination. (FYI they only seem to offer a laundry service but we found a coin laundromat nearby).

Really good hotel
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They helped us forward our luggage, nothing was too much trouble for them. The beds were a bit hard but i found them comfortable. Near the Shinsaibashi station, close to shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and the staff were nice and accommodating. You’re required to leave your room key at the reception desk when you leave the hotel and that’s strange, but there’s someone at the desk 24/7 so there’s no problem getting back in your room.

We’d stayed at this Hearton hotel before and appreciated its convenient location and cleanliness. However, we were disappointed with the following during this stay: - The floor of our guest room was pretty dirty despite the room being cleaned by housekeeping everyday. It appeared that the floor wasn’t vacuumed as we found clumps of long hair which was probably left by previous occupants and even a coin on the ground. - The daily breakfast at the cafe opposite the hotel was a letdown. In addition to its limited spread and palatability, the same food was served everyday throughout the 8 days that we were there.
