Excellent apartment stay in Budapest
I highly recommend Opera Residence for a great, easy stay in Budapest! The host, Krisztián was very helpful in providing comprehensive information about check-in, the apartment itself, and also a lot of very helpful information about Budapest and Hungary. The apartment was nice and clean, the washing machine was fantastic, and clothes dried very quickly with the clothes rack out on the balcony. The kitchen was great, with plenty of utensils, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, microwave and dishwasher! The only problem I encountered was the shower drain is possibly a bit blocked. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, Krisztián!

Convenient Place to Stay
The studio we stayed in was neat and clean but showing its age. Minor maintenance issues were attended to promptly by Krisztian who is very friendly and helpful. Amenities included kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full oven and cooktop and small fridge and very basic cooking/eating equipment. That said, equipment was adequate for our needs as we did not cook a meal. There are several small supermarkets close and a Lidl and large Spar near station, about 10 minutes walk. Bathroom was clean and tidy with washing machine, but had had quite a few patch-up jobs done. Bed was comfortable although pillows were very small and thin and linen appeared quite old but adequate. Location is great as you can walk to most places, or if over 65, use public transport for free. There are also a few nice cafes nearby, eg Cafe D81 which did great and different breakfasts.

Loved this apartment right in the heart of the Opera area of Budapest, Krisztian our host was fabulous his detailed information was amazing and the information YouTube videos brilliant, this is the best apartment to stay in Budapest especially if you want a well stocked utensils kitchen if you like cooking, lovely ensuite, safe place to rest and enjoy your holiday.

Best hotel experience in Budapest
Couldn't have been a better hotel experience in amazing Budapest. Working with hotel staff was always enjoyable/productive. Remote check-in was easy given informative attachment provided. We got lucky with early check-in due to an early checkout and coordination/cooperation of delightful housekeeping staff. Location was ideal, 5-10 min walk to some sites (inc. Metro stops), 5-10 min taxi to most others. Coffee shop, grocery store, bar and several restaurants were all within 2 min walk on safe/quiet street. Apartment was clean/functional with everything in working order. Wifi and TV with streaming capability were nice upgrades since we both were somewhat "under the weather" at the end of our 2.5 week European holiday. Would highly recommend this hotel - and have to my sister/bil for their trip next spring - to anyone wanting a great hotel in a great city.

A great location! Hop on Hop Off station close by so as the popular Cathedral in Budapest. Lots of restaurants and supermarket is stone throw away. Unfortunately, the bed linen weren’t changed when we checked in, this is something basic when you are in hospitality industry! But the issue was resolved the following day.

The building was secure and the location made walking to various sites easy. The building itself is not easily identified as Opera Residence, however Krisztian was very helpful and accommodating, in fact they made special arrangments so we could check in early. Apartment was much bigger than I expected: I had booked a studio but got an apartment with a separate bedroom, and the main living space was a large area with a kitchen, dining and lounge area. Balcony overlooking an internal courtyard was a bonus: no view obviously but nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine and have a beer. Great location, walking distance to all attractions (if you're happy to clock up a few miles like I am) and a 10 minute walk from the square where the airport bus runs from. Also right next to a busy street with plenty of restaurants and bars. I was staying here alone and it was quieter going down the street in the opposite direction: as a single female traveller being somewhere I'm unfamiliar with, I would not be happy walking down there at night but anywhere that I needed to go, I could get to via one of the busy streets which I was perfectly comfortable walking down alone. Highly recommended, had a great stay.

Excellent Value
Excellent value apartment, clean & spacious. Check-in was a dream and open 24/7 so no problem for a late arrival. Location was really good in a decent part of Budapest with cafes, restaurants, Opera House and Metro Station all close by. We were staying for F1 weekend and would definitely return.

Wonderful private bedroom apartment.
They have a reception desk so no matter when you arrive you will be taken care of. We found many in Budapest quite rude but this hotel management was really nice. The apartment was fantastic. No shampoo etc. We had been rolocated to this hotel after our apartment owner who told us to contact him upon arrival wouldn't pick up the phone for us nor hotels.com. we love booking with hotels.com for reasons like this they completely took care of us. Better to book an apartment with a front desk I've discouvered as planes can be delayed.
