I was wary of visiting Belarus as a US citizen but both my time in Minsk and a stay at this premium hotel quickly dispelled that feeling. The hotel and it's amenities are top-notch and shockingly inexpensive. It is ideal to use as a base to explore Minsk and all its sights. The dining options in such close proximity to the hotel couldn't have been better. I was surprised, too, that my US debit card and credit card (Schwab and Capitol One) worked everytime except 1. Felt like being in the rest of Europe. I would give this hotel top ranking.

Boutique Hotel Buta is an excellent choice to anyone going to Minsk. It is an upscale hotel, very well located in the heart of everything that is good in Minsk. There is a "food ghetto" at 3 minutes walking from the hotel that offers an ample choice of foods to satisfy any taste. The property is very clean, with comfortable beds, bathrobes, full set of amenities including tooth brushes, body lotion and other creams. It is small and not crowded. The parking lot is of easy access and the minibar has everything that you may need. Highly recommended.

Shower is very small. I didn’t stay in any other hotel if the shower has the same standard in Belarus. The shower is an enclosure, one person can stand and it can be slippery if proper attention is not paid. Staff is friendly, location is great and the cleanliness is good.
