Spent Christmas and new year at this hotel. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and spacious. We had a beautiful sea view with balcony. There was no kettle in the room but we asked at reception and one was provided. The staff were friendly, and more than helpful. We didn’t use the pool but it looked fine, a little on the small side maybe but that is not an issue.
We were half board, so breakfast and dinner. We didn’t enjoy the food much, but again that was just us. We would never normally go half board but thought we would give it a try. There was always something we liked, but often left disappointed.
The only down side was there are improvements being made outside the hotel NOT THE HOTELS FAULT, which was noisy and disruptive to all. It will look fantastic when done and the area itself was just lovely. Not to commercialised at all which we loved and we would love to come back again sometime.
Finally, (cutting a long story short) Expedia cancelled our booking after a phone call I made regarding the disruption outside and my disabled husband. The front desk staff were fantastic and allowed us to stay in our room, even though they didn’t know who was paying them at the end of our holiday. Again this was not the fault of the hotel.
I would consider this a 4* hotel. Only improvements would be a fridge, with tea and coffee facilities included. Thank you to all
