A wonderfully restored historical mansion into a magnificent bed and breakfast in the historical district of Savannah. Next to the Cathedral of John the Baptist, a short walk to shopping and resturaunts. Staff was attentive. Property was beautiful. Rooms were spacious and charming.

We thought the house was beautiful and loved the location and friendly staff! Parking was convenient and we loved being able to walk to restaurants, etc. Tim was extremely professional and helpful throughout our stay and arranged a trolley tour for us, which I highly recommend doing early on (to learn about the fascinating history and help get acclimated to the city). We loved the evening wine and hors d'oeurves, especially. Breakfast was good, however the server could have been more attentive on our first day. We unfortunately to had to leave a day early due to the hurricane, so we were unable to have breakfast on our second day. Our room was beautiful (they very kindly moved our room to a higher floor, without us asking, due to the possibility of flooding from the impending storm, which we appreciated). The room was not as clean as we expected (cobwebs on light fixture, toilet and shower had not been cleaned very well). We do still plan to revisit in the future, however, as these were minor issues and not enough to prevent us from going back.

We were beyond impressed with this hotel!! The location is perfect. Very walkable. Super clean. Charming hotel and the architecture and millwork are AH MAZE EENG! High ceiling, arched doors, custom plaster walls, and so much more. But the BEST amenity is the STAFF. Incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. We were blown away by how well we were treated. This historical house was the first house receiving electrical services in Savannah. All wood flooring thru-out the house is original authentic. All walls still maintain the original around 150 years old hand paintings by a local artist, the ceiling chandelier is the original historical item. All bedrooms are decorated back in time tastefully. Included breakfast is different and magnificent prepared each day. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. This historical house is a MUST to explore and live in it.
