It was an issue since check in. When we got there, we were given a room on the 8th floor that was already occupied & when the front desk was informed the lady moved us & all we were told was "Sorry, the a.m. person messed up", that was her apology. The room was nothing like the pictures, almost every piece of furniture was in disrepair & the bathroom faucet kept leaking. There was only one eleveator working and it was so tiny that it was uncomfortable to ride & smelled like pee. We wanted to change hotels, but they get you by signing a pre check in form where they make you sign a doc that says you can't get a refund for your stay (of course they do it before you see the room) We decided to stay since we were not planning on spending much time in the room & make the best of it. When we wanted to use the pots to cook, we found a burned pot with burned food still in it & a big lid, the cleaning lady was nice & provided us with a new set. We were booked for 8 days but then a tropical storm came & we starting having water come in, we told maintenance & they said they would check but never did. We decided to leave because of the hotel's conditions. I reached out to Hotels.com and they tried helping to get a refund since we were leaving due to the storm and conditions of the hotel. I tried asking them to at least refund me for 2 days (we checked out on the 4th day) but they stopped answering me & quoted their policy. This was the worst experience in a hotel & would never return
