No complaints
The property was close to a lot of downtown businesses and very clean. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay. The bed was amazing to sleep on.

8/10 Very good

Hotel is a good location close to a lot of thing walking distance or short drive. The rooms were good for what you pay for. Everything was clean I didn’t have any issues. Front desk was nice and easy to check in and out.

Great stay. Remodeled unit half the price anywhere else. Up and coming area with lots to do nearby.

Not bad for a under $100 per night motel
This is a good hotel for a one-night stay -- especially for those attending a concert at one of the nearby DT Phoenix venues. But I would not recommend this motel for a long stay because the amenities are minimal, the neighborhood is shady at night and it's noisy.

Van Buren delight!
This hotel is so convenient, directly across the street from the Van Buren theater. We parked our car in their lot and walked everywhere. The room is large, with a fridge, microwave, coffeepot and comfortable beds. It seems to be a property going under some upgrades and I wish them the best of luck. I will definitely stay here again.

Place look clean in the outside. Room was good but bathroom had hairs.

It was very clean, and was a beautiful room with fresh paint. The towels smelled nice, I had no issues at all. The noise was quiet as well, it surprised me since I assumed it would be noisy being on a main road but it was not. I recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient location, free parking, a little worn
Convenient location and reasonable price. Nice to have free parking. Beds were comfortable although no extra blankets, only the thin coverlet. The facility seems pretty worn although they've done a few minor renovations to make it look a bit more modern. Overall it was totally sufficient for one night and very convenient to see a show at the Crescent Ballroom.

Would not recommend this hotel for those with a young family. Hotel is located in a questionable area with bars on the windows. Floors were extremely dirty; immediately after showering, quick walk around the room and bottom of feet were covered. Looks like the hotel was redone but cheapy done at best.

Good price and great location
Overall it was a good stay. It’s a little noisy outside but the AC helps filter some of that sound out. It’s the first hotel we stay at where we had daily housekeeping service. You would be surprised how many no longer offer it or online offer it if you stay longer than two or three days. The front desk receptionist and other employees were nice. We would stay here again, mainly due to good price and great location.

6/10 Good

Budget friendly, safe, decent.
The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Its in a decent and safe location. Parking was right in front of the room. For the price, its a decent alternative that is budget friendly. It had a nice tv but the cable/internet speed was so bad that you could not watch the tv. Probably better that way.

Thankful
Manager very accommodating with my request for security. Prescription sunglasses fell out of my bag in the room. Realized sunglasses missing five days after my stay. Manager had them at the front desk. It was wonderful!

Friendly service. Nice remodel.
Old hotel but the room was nicely remodeled and outside was clean. Service was great. No ice machine. The bed was comfy but the sheets were rough. Our room had a water leak in front of the sink at one point. The floor was damaged and when stepped on it would sink in. It can get loud being on a busy street with sirens and cars.
Krystal, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

If all you need is a bed and a roof over your head, this place fits the bill. However, do not expect more than that. The noise level was higher than I would have expected.

Don't forget your earplugs
It was in a convenient location but I would highly recommend earplugs and white noise machine
Tracie, 1-night trip

Lots of noise
The room was nice, but Friday and Saturday night there were people in the neighboring parking lot yelling and revving muscle car engines until after 2am. Had to sleep with earplugs the second night. Things might be better during the week, but would not recommend on the weekends
2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Last resort stay
Location is convenient but horrible for rest. The hotel is across from nightlife that spills into the streets, It is like you are in the club when you're exhausted for sleep. It was a sold out weekend so the office wasn't able to move our room to the back. The ice machine broken, the shower is remodeled but horribly and water gets everywhere. Parking is available but very tight and limited. If you are in desperate need for a one night stay it is DECENT, however rest is rough and the amenities are slim to none.

Lipstick on a pig. They didn't have cups, or tissues. It just felt gross and falling apart
Darryll, 1-night trip

Pros and Cons
The price is right, the location is convenient, and the service is surprisingly responsive. The bed is comfortable. Then it's about tolerance for some downsides. The bathroom was ok but not great. My door security was iffy. The A/C was ok in Feb but I don't know about the summer months. The room has the smell of fresh paint. There's noisy construction next door and across downtown Phoenix. On its face, the site doesn't appear very safe; and as a single female, I probably wouldn't stay here. That said, more than one guest parked a luxury vehicle in the lot. And I should say that as a frequent business traveler, I probably would stay here again.
