Beautiful hotel, but poor service and management
When I arrived at the hotel, I was given a room that was not the one I had booked — it was smaller and didn’t have the jacuzzi that was included in my reservation. I also had to wait about two extra hours after the official check-in time, and no one informed me that my booked room was unavailable until I had already checked in and unpacked my things. When I complained, they admitted it was their mistake and promised to fix it after two days, even though my entire stay was only five days.
Two days later, they finally moved me to the correct room, but they didn’t transfer my luggage. When I went to the reception, the staff member was rude and insisted that my bags had already been moved. After searching for about two hours, they finally found my luggage and delivered it to my new room — which still wasn’t clean (there were drink stains on the bed and wall).
I asked for compensation for the room mistake, at least one extra night, but they refused and only offered one free day access to a paid swimming pool.
At the end of my stay, I requested to extend my booking at my own expense, but the hotel quoted me a price almost 40% higher than the actual online rate. I refused and rebooked through Expedia instead.
The service at the pools is also poor — you often have to ask two or three times before your order arrives, and even then, it’s often wrong. The service during evening shows is just as bad — drinks arrive very late, sometime
