Beds and linens were comfortable and clean. Hotel definitely needs a sprucing up but price was okay for a quick stay. Breakfast is pretty minimal but typical for a complimentary breakfast.

Fine
It was dirty. Like the hall way, the bedding, everything. We literally stopped for a night while passing through so it was cheap and fine. But like probably wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. The mattress was easy 20+ years old, it was flat and cracker and the bedding was as close to a piece of felt as you can get. I mean I’m just glad there were t bed bugs but if there were i wouldn’t have been surprised, it was gross.

Not what it was stacked up to be.
The place should have been more like $30 per night. Their idea of a free breakfast was pancakes that you pour from a bag and into a machine that cooks them, cereal, oatmeal, apples, bagels/toast, juice, coffee and milk. There was really nothing a diabetic could safely eat. In at least two rooms, at the front end of the guest room halls there were people smoking pot and it could be smelled through out the rooms. The rooms were actually very standard, for a side of the road motel. I would say there really was nothing luxury about it.

A Work in Progress
The hotel is in the process of being remodeled so it is a combination of old and new. My check in was smooth. My reservation was made on Hotels.com and made everything so much easier. My room was acceptable, not fancy but not a mess either. The bed was terrific and the building was quiet. It will be nice to see this hotel when all of the renovations are complete

You could do way worse for more $$$!
This was booked for a single night, no frills, just wanted a safe and bug free place to crash for a night. It met our expectations quite well for the price. It is an old, budget property, which is now independently owned and ongoing rehabs and improvement. It is rough around the edges, but totally perfunctory for a cheap night's sleep. There is a floodlight installed in the parking lot. It looked like there might be electric chargers coming too, and new landscaping. The no elevator to the upstairs, but the stairs are solid and not terrible to climb. The carpet looks like it was recently cleaned but there are a lot of places that are long stained and will never clean up fully. There are lots of dings and scratches on walls. Unattractive but usable furniture and fixtures. The beds were decently comfortable. No sign of bugs, which is most important to me. Regarding the smell someone mentioned in another review, I will admit there are some strong fragrances in the building which might bother fragrance sensitive folks. I thought downstairs smelled a bit like basmati rice, which I like! The room, I think the toilet paper roll has fragrance beads which may be bothersome and I think the linens smelled strongly of the blue Suavitel fabric softener, which is good but can be quite potent. All that said, it didnt smell like they were covering bad smells with good. No musty mildew odors or smoke. Staff is super friendly and chatty. We would stay again for a night!

The staff was amazing. I called earlier and said we’d be in at about 1:00; asked if we could check in. Was told they would try. Got here, was able to check in at 1:00. He apologized because the room is on the second floor. That was perfect. The hall carpet is dirty, but the rooo Ms are spacious and clean. That’s what we were looking for.

Great stay for the price
I stayed in the family room (2 beds + sofa bed) for a funeral. This was the nicest place I have found at the under $100 price point for 4-5 people near where my wife's family lives since the pandemic. The single room had 2 bathrooms, which was really nice getting ready for the funeral services. The hotel is obviously an old Super 8 that the new owners bought and are renovating. Breakfast was mostly food from Aldi's and a pancake maker. I had to plug a few things in (like the TV), but I prefer hotels that cut costs over the ones that jacked up prices. I have spent more for worse stays in the area.

It’s a little difficult to see in the dark. Entrance, signage and parking could use some additional lightening. It was fine as I was visiting family in Cleveland so I was just sleeping and showering there.
