The photos on hotels.com do not reflect what the rooms are. There are newer cabins on the property, the photos of those are the only posted.
Our first room had a smell, the sheets had something on them, the screen was torn, there was a hole in the ceiling the balcony was falling apart, and there was a chaise lounge couch on it soaked from the rain, musty and so dirty.
We kindly asked for a new room to which the front desk said they had upgraded us to this room… we had booked a double queen courtyard and they gave us a balcony beachside. We moved to the courtyard and this room was somewhat passable, still smelly and still not worth the money that was spent! It was too late to move hotels and the strict cancellation policy would not allow us to get our money back. Expedia.com did provide a credit on our next stay.
