The only things I have to comment on were :1) morning calls not punctual. 2) the English ability of some staff needs improvement. However, they try very hard to help and the staff backed up each other. So, the problem was small. 3) only Japanese breakfast was served; however, I am not a fussy person and as long as I have something hot and a hot coffee in the morning, it was fine with me. 4) one out of my 4 night stay -- the room was not tidied properly. 5) the heater was a bit too much for me the first night and I had to open the window a bit to let in cool air. Other nights were fine. 6) Having said the above, it was a pleasant surprise to find out there was a hot bath in the basement, and I used it two times. 7) I was given a room with a 4-feet bed. 8) Sound insulation was acceptable. I did not hear the noise in other rooms except when people were talking in the corridor. 9) in conclusion, I will certainly stay there again if I ever go to Osaka. After getting used to the public transport system, the hotel is quite conveniently located. Although there were not much life around the area, it was only 3 subway stations away from Osaka and Namba. I usually had my dinner in Namba before taking the subway back to the hotel, and the neighbourhood is safe.
